2. What kind of incentives could a green company offer
to its employees?

DEVELOPMENT
Good morning colleagues and instructor Ruben Mauricio
Muñoz Morales
I respond to the thematic forum
1. How can you be environmentally friendly at work? The
importance of caring for the environment is something that is currently taking
on a lot of importance worldwide. In offices, the correct use of garbage
containers by color must be implemented to correctly organize waste. It is also
important for all workers to understand that trash should not be thrown on the
office floor. Obviously, keep in mind that there are smokers, who either must
have their area, or understand that they must leave the premises to smoke. And
finally, the correct and continuous training of employees is important, where
they are taught environmental care issues outside the work facilities, at home,
on the street and in other non-work environments.
2. What type of incentives could a green company offer
its employees? Some good ideas that I have seen in companies such as
clinics or hospitals separate waste by the color of each bag - the staff who
work are trained - work groups are formed in different weekly shifts to recycle
- Companies should reward the employee who more recycle in the month.
3. What other ways could companies involve their
employees in environmental issues? Companies can
reward workers to encourage them to create new ways to recycle, as well as
limit plastic and water use. The prize can be monetary compensation, a special
meal with some executives or an extra day of vacation. The formation of teams
to review work areas is one of the activities that apparently is very
functional to understand environmental care in the environment. of work.
However, the use of incentives will always be well received by workers, who
understand what they should and should not do in different areas to not only
continue caring, but also, as a duty, promote environmental care in their
environment. Companies such as EPSs, Hospitals and clinics can also support the
implementation of activities outside the facilities during working hours,
activities such as visits to natural parks, places where people observe nature
and get more involved with what we must do every day to take awareness in
caring for the environment.

Forum
To develop the evidence, you must participate in the
forum called “Sharing life experiences” and, based on the aspects of your work
experience, in an argued and creative way, answer the following questions based
on the initial situation presented:
Think about an experience at work where you were
flexible and adapted to a new situation or a change in the process.
Now answer:
● What was the result of the experience?
● How did your flexibility and adaptability help you
to deal with the situation?
● Would you change anything in order to deal in a
better way with it?
Follow up on the forum and respond to a
critical-reflective comment in accordance with the intervention made by your
colleagues.

DEVELOPMENT
What was the result of the experience? In
my case the experience acquired. As a result, it was possible to learn to make
high-risk decisions and to take them calmly, obtaining information in record
time and working under pressure at the very moment of the processes. Without
affecting the work of the workers.
How did your flexibility and adaptability help you
cope? Listening is very fundamental, clear and provided
information allows me, based on my experience, to make decisions and adapt to
sudden unplanned changes, and sometimes skip the requirement to be more
flexible in order to find a quick solution.
Would you change something to cope better?
Yeah. I would change certain things. How to carry out an improvement and
preventive maintenance plan to avoid failures in production processes and thus
avoid these experiences. However, these same experiences allow us to improve as
professionals and acquire more knowledge and experience.
